Horse Thief Mile Day

If there were two big bow wearing bunnies of me, I'd totally be at two different events on the same day! Also this weekend, there was an event at Willow Spring International Speedway out in Rosamond, CA. I believe it was the "RMJ" event. Here is a clip of my friend Jason Aquino ripping it in his buddy Omar's Mazda RX7 (: Enjoy loves! xoxo

XDC Round 1 Irwindale Speedway

This past weekend was nothing short of fun and kick ass Drifting! XDC kicked off the 2011 Drift season in the House of Drift; Irwindale Speedway. Hoppin on into the speedway, I saw a ton of familiar faces from Formula Drift and other various crews from outside states. The XDC Remix show was small but still bumpin with energy. Show cars were out, models were posing for and with their fans, and of course, the Cooper Tires stage was the center of attention by many "photogs documenting the fine ladies of XDC shaking and grinding their cute little tushies with their beyond fab Go-Go boots... Ladies, if you're reading, hook a bunny up with them boots in pink please and thank you xoxo ;) One of my favorite XDC drivers and buddy of the bunny is Dave Briggs. Such an honest and killer driver hailing from Toronto, Canada and competes in DMCC was a top qualifier with his newly built S14 and ready to rock out!

It's always nice to see Dave and his amazing crew and of course his lovely lady Matia, such sweet people. Love you guys :) xoxo

Moving on, while hanging out in the photography spot, I spotted a familiar face, driver Kelvin Arreola! Such a sweet and great driver. I was super lucky enough to get to be umbrella and hype up girl/bunny for the top 16 for kutie pie Kelvin.

The excitement was uncontrollable as you can tell!! I had the honor of dancing in front of everyone with Kelvin too, one of my favorite memories ever. Thank you Kelvin doll!! xoxo

Formula Drift driver, Drift Alliance brother, XDC judge and all around freaking fabulous driver, Chris Forsburg showed off his newly built Infinity M35, with FOUR bucket seats! Its soul is still the Nissan V8 (VK56 engine) you know, the one in the NOS Energy 350Z... He totally ripped the track a new one while giving THREE lucky passengers a hell of a ride and smoking up some Hankook Tires. Can't wait to see this car in the 2011 FD season, best of luck to you and your fabulous team, Chris! xoxo

Here are a few more pics from some crazy amazing drivers that totally brought the heat this past weekend.
Here is Nate Hamilton in his radical s13 xoxo

Cyrus Martinez of Megan Racing, also another sweet driver! xoxo

Daniel "DK" Kuo in the fabulous golden Mazda FC. xoxo

robert turnbow doing his thing in the fabulous candy cressida. xoxo

Favorite color (: OG drift car! xoxo

I LOVE CHELSEA DENOFA! So much fun to watch him improve and get even crazier every event. Get at your Drift Bunny, Chelsea! I need to bake you some good luck cupcakes! (: xoxo

Lining it upppp (:

All in all, it came down to Chelsea and Odi in the final epic tandem for the top spot.

""George Marstanovic, from Flagstaff, Arizona, finished third overall after winning the Consolation Round when Maui, Hawaii’s Joshua Steele, driving the NST / NOS Energy Drink / Neverslo Nissan S13.4, was unable to make the second run of the round.

For DeNofa, the 2010 XDC Champion and driver of the Nexen / Non Stop Tuning / Technica BMW E36, the road to the final round was not an easy one. After qualifying first for the event, he enjoyed a bye run in the first round when Robert Turnbow’s Toyota Cressida was unable to compete. DeNofa then survived the toughest battle of the day when he went two One More Time’s against Forrest Wang before advancing to the Final Four where he had yet another One More Time against Marstanovic before advancing into the Final.

Backhis, driving the Forged Racing Radiators / Godspeed Nissan S13 and winner of the XDC Las Vegas event in 2010, also had to survive a One More Time against Will Parsons in the Great Eight. He then defeated Steele to advance to the final against DeNofa.

“It feels great to get the win after winning last year’s championship,” said DeNofa after the podium presentation where he was awarded a check for $3000 for his victory. As top qualifier, DeNofa also took home an additional $500. “I can’t think of a better way to start the 2011 championship. The Nexen / Non Stop Tuning / Technica BMW E36 was working really well and I’m really looking forward to the next XDC event in Arizona.”

Bachkis’s chance at victory slipped away in the Final when he had a correction as he followed DeNofa into the inner bank of Toyota Speedway. He still put in a strong lead run but DeNofa didn’t put a wheel wrong while following to seal his victory.""

Unfortunately, I needed to hop on out of the event after the Top 16 intros due to personal reasons. I was emailed this along with other information on the rest of the event. These pictures were borrowed from my boyfriend, Jerry Truoung, and his blog: the-perfect-exposure.blogspot.com
Also, via the press release I received, the other two pictures were shot by Larry Chen at driftfotos.com
I will be investing in my very own camera for Formula D Long Beach and will have 100 times more pictures up with more juicy fab pictures that document Drifting through the eyes of the Drift Bunny xoxo
See you on the track!
